Man changes plea, admits drug trafficking charge

A 22-year-old Gardnerville man faces up to six years in prison after he changed his plea to guilty Monday to a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance. In a plea agreement, Kyle Ross Jarboe pleaded guilty to trafficking in a controlled substance. In exchange, the state dropped a charge of possession of a controlled substance for sale. He also admitted two probation violations on prior felony convictions. Under terms of the agreement, Jarboe will remain in Douglas County Jail until his sentencing Jan. 6, and will be given 180 days credit toward his prison sentence. Both parties agreed to …
