The RC Morning Report for July 10

We had a couple of little shakers early this morning five miles southeast of Double Springs Flat in the Pine Nuts. The first one at 1:51 a.m. was a magnitude 2.0. The second was a .7.

County Manager Steve Mokrohisky is out of town today, so we’ll delay the question and answer session until next month. If you’ve got a question for him, feel free to e-mail it to editor@recordcourier.com.

Assemblyman Jim Wheeler will be speaking at the Sierra Nevada Republican Women’s monthly luncheon today at Tahoe Ridge Winery. Social starts at 11:30 a.m., lunch and the meeting are at noon.

Expect sunny skies today, with some haze from the fire. The high temperature is forecast to be 91 degrees in Minden, with the winds picking up out of the southwest later this morning.
