Man held on a dozen charges

Bail is $28,920 for a 30-year-old Alpine County resident who faces a dozen charges including domestic battery, robbery , burglary, resisting arrest, and assault on a police officer. Waylon Curtis Dondero appeared Friday before East Fork Judge Tom Perkins who appointed Derrick Lopez to represent him. His next court appearance is Wednesday. He is charged with three counts of battery that constitutes domestic violence, resisting a police officer, two counts of burglary, battery with intent to commit a crime, robbery, and assault on a police officer.
