Suspects sought for fraudulent credit card use

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating two men accused of fraudulently using a credit card to obtain cash at the Lakeside Inn.

On June 19, at approximately 1:30 p.m., two adult black males entered the Lakeside Inn and obtained a voucher from the ATM machine inside the casino. The suspect used a credit card that did not match the identification that was provided when they presented the voucher for cash.

The males were able to fraudulently obtain cash from the casino.

The same two males attempted to obtain additional cash at a casino near Bishop, Calif., said Sgt. Pat Brooks.

Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Ed Garren at (775) 586-7255 or Douglas County Secret Witness at: (775) 782-7463.
