Man sent to prison for probation failure

Probation was revoked Tuesday for a 23-year-old Carson City man who failed to meet the terms of probation for stealing thousands of dollars in jewelry from a residence where he worked as a landscaper. District Judge Tod Young ordered Cesar Dominic Hartman to serve his underlying sentence of six years in prison for the grand larceny charge. Hartman was accused of several probation violations including using marijuana, and failure to pay restitution, find employment or obtain a substance abuse evaluation.
