Alcohol issue prompts credit card theft plea

A 37-year-old woman with a history of alcohol offenses waived a preliminary hearing Wednesday, and agreed to plead guilty to fraudulent use of a credit card. East Fork Justice Tom Perkins ordered Amy Adair to appear in District Court on May 13 to answer a charge that she spent $2,141.32 on a family member’s credit card without permission. She agreed to pay restitution. In exchange for Adair’s guilty plea, her lawyer, Kris Brown, said the state would not object to a diversion program.
