Man says warrant unconstitutional

A man who waived his extradition to Oregon after he was arrested on a fugitive warrant is back in Gardnerville this week. Jason Garrett Gibson, 43, said Wednesday that the warrant issued by Clackamas County for the nonsupport of a child was unconstitutional. He said he was home for Christmas when a family dispute resulted in his Dec. 21 arrest. Gibson signed a waiver of extradition on Dec. 24. On Tuesday, Gibson said he was not on probation for nonsupport of a minor child. Gibson said the system is designed to prevent fathers from staying on top of their obligations …
