Minden pledges $5,000 to annual concert series; addresses RV parking

The Minden Town Board pledged $5,000 for the summer concert in the park series, and took steps to address the parking around Minden Park during the popular events. On Wednesday, the board agreed to waive park rental fees, provide staff to monitor the park, assist with cleanup and provide free trash dumpsters. The series, sponsored by Douglas County Parks and Recreation, opens May 31 with Nathan Owens and the Sound of Motion.
