Minden sets April 25 meeting to pick attorney

Minden Town Board members set a special meeting April 25 to interview finalists and select a new town counsel. The vacancy was created in January with the retirement of George Keele after 32 years serving the board. The finalists are: ■ Michael McCormick, Minden, former Douglas County assistant district attorney; ■ Michael Rowe, Minden, partner Rowe, Hales, Yturbide, former Douglas County district attorney, and current or former counsel for the Gardnerville Ranchos, Topaz Ranch Estates, Gardnerville, Genoa and the Nevada Commission for the Reconstruction of the V&T Railway; ■ Ryan Russell, Carson City, Allison, MacKenzie, Pavlakis, Wright & Fagan, Ltd.; …
