Trial set on drug charges

A trial is set April 4 for a former Topaz Ranch Estates man accused of possession of drug paraphernalia. Attorney Arnold Brock, representing client Corey E. Doan, 41, asked for the trial on two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Doan was arrested on March 13 and is being held without bail. According to Brock, Doan was accused of possession of a plastic bag and a straw, but neither had residue. Doan was also accused of failing to report a change in address and refusing to submit to a drug test in violation of a suspended sentence. “This violation, from …
