The RC Morning Report for March 18

Looking good

Susan Sanford and Sybil Dunagan are doing makeovers for women with cancer at the Carson Valley Medical Center 2-3:30 p.m. today. I don’t know if they’re still making reservations, but you can call Susan at 267-4398.

Busy scanner night

I got a couple of scanner tips including one that a couple had to be chased down after a report of a theft at the Gardnerville Walmart late Sunday night. Both were detained by Douglas County deputies. The other was a broadcast for officers to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run on Highway 50 at the Goodwill Store in Carson City at 10:40 p.m. The TV stations are reporting someone was arrested.

Change in the weather

We won’t see snow in the Valley, but it will cool down and there may even be some rain on Tuesday night. For today, we’ll see more sun and a high temperrture in the 60s.
