Reward offered for Valley golf course damage

Authorities are seeking the person who drove a silver full-size pickup over the 10th green of the Carson Valley Golf Course on the morning of May 17.

According to Sheriff’s Spokesman Sgt. Pat Brooks, an employee saw the pickup, which was possibly a Dodge or Ford built since 2000, lifted with an extended cab.

The green suffered an estimated $2,000 damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sheriff’s Dispatch at 782-5126 or Douglas County Secret Witness at 782-7463 or DCSO Investigator Rick Koontz at 782-9926.

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction. Anyone calling may remain anonymous.
