A Minden woman was jailed after she allegedly told deputies she stabbed her boyfriend at her Pinewood Drive apartment on Saturday morning.

Gwyn Douglas, 38, is being held on $28,646 bail on charges of domestic battery, battery with a deadly weapon and possession of paraphernalia.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the 43-year-old victim was hospitalized for nonlife-threatening injuries to his arm.

The incident was reported at 8:10 a.m. When deputies arrived they found the bleeding victim sitting with his back to the wall on the second floor of the apartment complex, and blood spatter on the door.

The victim had two large, deep cuts to his left arm, the sheriff’s report said.

In her statement to deputies, Douglas said she woke up to find the victim gone along with her car and clothes.

She said she texted him to bring her car and clothes back. When he arrived he tried to enter the apartment using the key, she tried to prevent him from coming in.

She said she was knocked down by the door and stuck her knife out as she was getting up, striking the victim.
