Nevada Appeal veteran named editor

Veteran newsman Adam Trumble has been named editor of the Nevada Appeal in Carson City.

For more than six years Trumble has served in a variety of news positions, including night news editor and interim editor, for the Nevada Appeal. During that time he continued to take on greater responsibility for the coverage decisions for the Appeal. He also served briefly as the editor of the Appeal’s sister newspaper, The Tahoe Daily Tribune.

Trumble, 31, was first attracted to the area after visiting from his home in Michigan eight years ago.

He holds a journalism degree from Central Michigan University where he edited the university newspaper.

The Nevada Appeal is sister paper to The Record-Courier, Lahontan Valley News in Fallot, North Lake Tahoe Bonanza in Incline Village and the Sierra Sun in Truckee, in addition to the Tribune in South Lake Tahoe.
