Main Street Gardnerville’s final “Thirsty Third Thursday” Wine Walk of the season is 4:30-7:30 p.m. Sept.19 in the downtown Gardnerville Main Street District.
“The purpose of these Wine Walks is to invite people to the Main Street District to see what Downtown Gardnerville has to offer,” organizers said. “The money raised covers expenses and goes back into the community through other Main Street Gardnerville events and projects.”
Two registration booths are located at 1407 Highway 395 (next to Gadzooks), and at the Stratton Center North at Big Daddy’s Bike, Board & Ski Shop.
All participants must show a valid identification at registration.
The cost to attend these wine walks is $5 for a 2013 commemorative glass (which can be used at all of our future wine walks) and then $10 to register.
Registered wine walkers will be entered into a drawing each month for VIP passes to future wine walks, and for gift certificates to one of the participating wine walk businesses.
Some of the businesses will be pouring wines from Northern Nevada – Churchill County Northeastern California – Amador, El Dorado, Calaveras, Placer region.
