Emergency response team training this weekend

Douglas County Emergency Management is once again offering Community Emergency Response Team training. The class will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at East Fork Station No. 2, Gardnerville Volunteer Fire Department at 1265 Douglas Ave. “This training is excellent for personal use to help families prepare for major disasters and once you have taken the class you are eligible to apply to become a volunteer member of the Douglas County team,” officials said.
