Home sales on the upswing in Douglas County

The second quarter of 2013 saw the largest number of home sales in Carson Valley since 2006, according to figures released by the Douglas County Assessor’s Office. The quarter saw 229 homes sold with a median sales price of $239,000 and an average sales price of $292,598. Both figures are up from the last three quarters, and mark a rebound in price.
