A change to the Nevada Open Meeting Law caught Douglas County School Board trustees unawares, and is requiring them to reapprove all their actions since March 1, 2014. The Legislature requires all boards to post their agendas to theweb site. There are a lot of boards in Douglas that aren’t on that site. Trustees meet 3:30 p.m. at Carson Valley Middle School.
Planning commissioners will hear a request from Main Street Gardnerville to put a mural on the side of the old Pyrenees Hotel, which once housed Aladdin Flowers. Also on the agenda are the medical marijuana establishment ban and approval of indoor gun ranges.
