Man sought in tablet theft

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in the theft of several tablets from the Game Stop store near Topsy Lane.

The incident occurred 2 p.m. Feb. 8 at Game Stop.

Sgt. Pat Brooks said the suspect is a white male adult, in his late teens to early 20s, muscular build, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall to 6 feet, with short blond hair and clean shaven,

He was wearing a light gray T-shirt with a logo and blue jeans.

The suspect was looking at tablets and removed several from the wall behind the counter. While the store clerk assisted another patron, the suspect placed the tablets under his shirt and walked out of the store, according to reports.

A reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspect. Your identity is not needed and you can remain anonymous.
