Kiwanis bingo for ham
March 18, 2013
The Kiwanis Club of Carson Valley is hosting its annual Ham Bingo on Saturday in the CVIC Hall in Minden.
There will be two sessions, the first at 3 p.m., and the second at 6 p.m.
Bingo cards are 25 cents each per game, and there is no limit to the number of cards an individual may play.
Games will last until all hams are given away, and an exciting grand prize is awarded for each session.
Tickets will be for sale at all sessions for raffle prizes. Free cookies, popcorn, and coffee will be available; hot dogs, ice cream and soft drinks may be purchased.
During each sessions’ intermission children 6 and under will receive a gift while supplies last.
Members of the Kiwanis Club of Carson Valley provide the hams and the grand prizes. Raffle prizes are donated by community businesses.
These events raise funds for Kiwanis-supported community initiatives that include Kiwanis Club scholarships for Douglas High School students and 4-H members pursuing education and careers in teaching, business, agriculture and vocational studies.
