The R-C Morning Report for Jan. 10

A high wind watch has been issued for Saturday as a low pressure system moves into the west. We could see wind gusts of up to 60 mph starting 7 a.m. and continuing until 7 p.m. There’s a slight chance we’ll get some rain during the day.

Contractors are pulling the used oil tanks out of the former Eagle Gas Station. I saw them working on it on Thursday.

The lights are on at the Tractor Supply Co. in Minden and the signs are up. I anticipate the grand opening announcement any day now.

The dawn is painting the clouds over the Pine Nuts red, brush strokes and all. The forecast today is for a high temperature of 60 degrees under partly sunny skies. Expect the wind to pick a bit tonight out of the west at 10-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph.
