Prison term in trafficking, probation case

With nearly a dozen family members and friends in court to lend support, 22-year-old Kyle Jarboe was sentenced Monday to five years in Nevada state prison for drug trafficking and felony probation violations.

“I am very sorry to see you here today,” said District Judge Michael Gibbons. “I started to see you in juvenile court. Your main problem was (not being able to stay away from) drugs. You couldn’t do it.”

He encouraged Jarboe to take advantage of prison programs as he serves his sentence.
