An elderly Minden man, whose family reported they’d lost contact with him, was found safe in Carson City on Tuesday.
Douglas County Sheriff’s Office investigators reported that Edward O’Donnell, 71, was in good health and would make contact with his family.
It didn’t take long for investigators to locate O’Donnell, about two hours after they issued a bulletin on Tuesday asking for help.
O’Donnell’s wife is currently staying in an area care facility, and he has been out of contact with his family before when he was staying in a Carson City motel.
He was last in touch with his family on Dec. 7, and after not hearing from him for more than two weeks, they contacted the authorities, according to sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Pat Brooks.
