Intoxicated man accused of knife threat

A 29-year-old man — arrested with a blood-alcohol content more than six times the legal limit — is accused of threatening his mother with knife when she tried to retrieve her car keys. Timothy James Pavloff was arrested Thursday and jailed on $25,000 bail on an allegation of assault with a deadly weapon. When deputies arrived at the Alpine View Estates home he shares with his mother, Pavloff was so intoxicated, he was taken to Carson Valley Medical Center for a medical clearance. His blood-alcohol content was .490. In Nevada, .08 is the legal limit for driving. Pavloff was taken …
