Mammoth Lakes raid nets four arrests

A Sunday morning raid resulted in the seizure of 4 ounces of cocaine and the arrest of four people in Mammoth Lakes.

Mono County Narcotics Enforcement officers and sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant on a home, which led them to a second home.

Between the two searches and several alerts by narcotics detection dog Tara, officers found the cocaine, concentrated cannabis, multiple types of prescription drugs, digital scales, plastic bindles, pay sheets and a pistol, according to sheriff’s spokeswoman Jennifer Hansen.

Arrested were:

Vasiliy Shkunov, 23, of Mammoth Lakes, for possession of a controlled substance; possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sales; sales of a controlled substance; possession of prescription narcotics; being under the influence of a controlled substance; and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Alyssa Magana, 20, of Mammoth Lakes, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Adrianna Garcia-Mallison, 21, of Anaheim, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance; possession of prescription narcotics; transportation of a controlled substance; being under the influence of a controlled substance; and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Steven Barone, 24, of Harbor City, Calif., was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

All four were taken and booked into the Mono County Jail in Bridgeport without incident.

All charges are pending through the Mono County District Attorney’s Office.
