Assemblyman given until end of month to amend forms

Assemblyman Jim Wheeler has until the end of the month to amend his three financial disclosure forms or explain why they are accurate, according to a letter sent to him by the Nevada Secretary of State’s Office. The letter is in response to complaints lodged against Wheeler by former Assemblyman Kelly Kite. Included in the complaint are an alleged failure to disclose a Michigan state tax lien on his disclosures for 2010, 2012 and 2013. Wheeler denies the lien is for him.
