Holiday Gala may be over, but there is still time to vote

Trees of all shapes and sizes filled the main gallery of the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center on Saturday for the annual Holiday Gala. With 18 decorated Christmas trees and 14 gingerbread house entries, visitors had plenty to look at. “We’re getting a lot of traffic and selling a lot of cookies,” said Grace Bower, Douglas County Historical Society president. “The trees are so different from any we’ve had.
