Highway 95 through Goldfield reopened 7:25 p.m. Tuesday after being closed for most of the day while bomb units worked to clear explosives found during a vehicle stop.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Esmeralda County deputies were dispatched to a road rage report at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday. They made a stop near the Esmeralda County Courthouse, and detained the occupants of the vehicle.

During an inventory of the vehicle was conducted, a rifle and an undisclosed amount of explosives were found inside, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
