Mark Allen Flora identified as Texas man killed in Highway 50 head-on

The male driver from Texas, who was involved in the head-on accident in Carson City on June 23, has been identified by the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Mark Allen Flora, 59, who was driving a Ford Taurus died at the scene of the accident. The driver of a Nissan Altima, 34-year-old Jason William Cloutier, remains in serious condition at Renown Regional Medical Center.

The crash happened 3:28 a.m. on Highway 50 at Centennial Park Way in Carson City. Cloutier was driving the Altima westbound in the eastbound travel lane of Highway 50 when the front of the Nissan struck front hit the front of the Taurus.

Cloutier’s passenger, Carson City resident Sierra Grace Woodward, 26, sustained fatal injuries.

At this time, Cloutier is still at Renown Regional Medical Center in serious condition.
