The Lampe Park Farmers Market opens for the season 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, so if you’re tomatoes freeze, here’s another source.

Shelby’s Book Shoppe will be starting the series on democracy today with retired Douglas High government teacher and former school board member Randy Green. The store’s located in Minden Village.
