The R-C Morning Report for April 3

Hitting the trail

Genoans agreed to accept maintenance of the Vista Trail at their meeting on Tuesday. With a vote of 4-1, the town board approved an agreement that takes ownership of the trail to Walley’s Hot Springs Resort. While there was substantial opposition from residents to maintaining the trail last year, there wasn’t much in evidence on Tuesday night.

Lawyers, pumps and money

Minden Town Board members will discuss hiring a new lawyer and annexing the property where the booster station for the new water station is located. The town meets today starting at 5:30 p.m. in the CVIC Hall, but the action agenda doesn’t start until 6:30 p.m.

April showers

Look for a high temperature in the 70s under partly cloudy skies today. It won’t start to really cloud up until tonight bringing a chance of showers on Thursday.
