Three sought in Pinewood Lodge robbery

Authorities are seeking two men and a woman who robbed the Pinewood Lodge in South Lake Tahoe on Saturday night.

An unidentified woman knocked on the Lodge’s front lobby door at about 11:30 p.m. and told the clerk she needed a room.

When the clerk opened the door, two men wearing ski masks and gloves forced their way into the office.

One man with a handgun pushed the clerk behind the counter and the second man held a large hunting knife to the clerk’s neck while the woman demanded money. The man with a handgun opened the cash drawer and removed cash. All three left in a brown four-door Cadilla headed toward Stateline.

All three were described as black. The woman was described as having a small build, 5-feet, 4-inches tall and wearing a gray sweatshirt with a hood.

The man with the gun was described as being 6-feet, 2-inches tall, and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, dark jeans, black ski mask

The man with a knife was of similar height, wearing all dark clothing and a black mask. All three were wearing black gloves.
