Baseball: Douglas tops North Valleys

For whatever reason, North Valleys High School has been somewhat of a black hole for the Douglas baseball program over the past seven years.

Douglas had lost its last four games at the North Reno school and hadn’t won a game there since 2006.

The Tigers put an end to that streak Tuesday, beating the Panthers 7-3. Douglas boosted its record to 11-1 overall and 7-0 in league play on the year.
