Three new businesses employing about five dozen workers are coming to Douglas County, the Northern Nevada Development Authority announced on Monday night.
The businesses include:
■ Franklin Armory, which produces firearms, and expects to hire 10-20 workers during its first year of operation.
■ Global Aqua Solutions, an organic chemical company that expects to hire 15 workers when its at full capacity.
■ Eastbiz, a mail forwarding and small package shipping for consumers buying from U.S. sellers that do not ship, which plans to hire 30 employees, with an estimated increase after two years to about 50 to 60 employees.
The authority plans to announce the companies at its breakfast at the Carson Nugget, 7 a.m. Wednesday. On Friday, it was announced that Cristek Interconnects is coming to Douglas County.
