In the middle of the Great Recession, Douglas County officials came together to come up with ways to strengthen the county’s economy. Focusing on those things that make the county different, they determined a dozen projects. On Tuesday, the public is invited to review the progress made on implementing the plan at the Douglas County Economic Vitality Showcase 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden.
