Three of the four finalists for Douglas County manager are also finalists for a similar position in Englewood, Colo.
According to a story appearing in the Grand Island Independent, Mary Lou Brown’s hometown newspaper, she, Timothy Ray Hacker and James R. Nichols were interviewed by the Englewood City Council on Monday.

A final decision for the position in Englewood is expected Aug. 22.
Douglas County commissioners are scheduled to interview the three, and Curtis Calder, in public 9 a.m. Monday.
Douglas County is looking to pick a candidate at the regular Sept. 4 meeting.
Hacker and Nichols were both finalists for the position of Carson City manager.
