The R-C Morning Report for June 27

Debug Computer is hosting a community shred day 11 a.m. today at their Minden location, 1560 Highway 395 where Puliz Document Destruction will be on site to destroy any documents. They will also accept old electronics to be recycled. All shredding and recycling is free to all and will be done on a first come first serve basis.

Keep an eye out for the antique Oldsmobiles today. They were supposed to go to Reno to visit the National Auto Museum, but it’s closed through Monday, at least.

State Route 108 not far from Sonora Pass was down to one lane due to a traffic hazard from early this morning. As of 6:53 a.m. the road has reopened. I wager there was some sort of rock fall.

Fire restrictions are in place just about everywhere so be careful with ignition sources in the wilderness. Bring a camp stove if you plan to cook out.

Today’s weather will be mostly sunny and breezy, with the high hitting 81 degrees. Expect winds 5-10 mph early on speeding up to 15-20 mph in the afternoon with gusts up to 30 mph.
