Reward offered in Walmart theft

A reward is being offered for information leading to two men who entered the Walmart on April 14 and took a television and DVD player.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the theft occurred at 2:21 p.m. The men entered the store and selected the items from the electronics department.

The left the store without paying for the items and drove off in a red Ford Taurus.

Anyone with information about the theft is encouraged to call Douglas County Dispatch at 782-5126, Douglas County Secret Witness at 78-CRIME, or sheriff’s investigator Ted Jasperson at 782-6299.

A reward is available for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case. Tipsters identity is not required and they may remain anonymous.
