The R-C Morning Report for April 23

There was a little shaker down around Paynesville just over the state line in Alpine County. The 2.07 magnitude earthquake was just east of Highway 88 at 11:44 p.m. Tuesday. There was no report of damage.

Douglas County Social Services is offering a free basic computer skills class for job seekers 1:30 p.m. today at 1133 Spruce St. Call 782-9825 to find out more about it.

It froze a bit this morning. At my house the temperature was 30 degrees at 6 a.m. There’s a few spots where ice is clinging to the lawns, but that should be gone soon.

We’ve got mostly sunny skies in the forecast today with a high temperature in the low 60s, with the wind light out of the west at 5 p.m. More rain may be coming toward the end of the week.
