Three egg hunts scheduled for today

The Carson Valley Active 20-30 Club’s annual Easter egg hunt is 1 p.m. today.

The hunt will take place at Lampe Park near the pavilion.

There will be three age groups for this year’s event. The age groups are 0-3, 4-7, and 8-12.

Along with real eggs for the kids to find, there will be prize-filled plastic eggs as well.

A prize basket will be awarded to the children who find the two golden eggs in each age group.

The Easter Bunny will be on hand, so cameras are suggested.

1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort and Spa is also hosting two egg hunts today on the grassy area by the restaurant.

Times are 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. for children ages 6 and younger and 7-12-years-old.

There will be a grand prize winner in each age group for finding the special egg, and an appearance by the Easter Bunny

David Walley’s is located at 2001 Foothill Road.

For more information, call 782-6602.

Both events are free and open to the public.
