Army semi at Douglas High School on Thursday

Students of Douglas High School will get a first-hand look on Thursday at one of the Army’s modern semi trucks known as an IS4 – Interactive Semi.

The 60-foot long Army-branded tractor trailer is a self-contained classroom that features a variety of DVD shows and short videos, including the presentation of an ongoing anti-bullying campaign. The vans also incorporate interactive exhibits, laser engagement systems and are equipped with America’s Army game.

This is the first time in more than five years that the Army has rolled into the Nevada area to showcase their interactive Semi.
