The R-C Morning Report for April 16

Douglas County Public Library Director Linda Deacy said she plans to retire toward the end of this year. Linda has been the county’s head librarian for almost 16 years. She said the announcement for her job should go onto the county’s website on Monday.

Incline author Benjamin Scott Allen is talking about grief 7 p.m. today at the Carson Valley Inn. Admission is a $10 donation to the Suicide Prevention Network.

It looks like the wind has died down and is shifting to the northwest this afternoon at 5 mph. Expect mostly sunny skies and a high temperature of 72 degrees.
