Last week, the Douglas County Republican Central Committee published the transcripts of interviews conducted with Nevada Lieutenant governor candidates Senator Mark Hutchison, and former Senator Sue Lowden.
DCRCC Executive Board member Walter Nowosad organized these interviews to ask questions candidates are not typically asked. Additionally, he sought to ask questions that were not typical, but that go to the core of some very important constitutional issues potentially facing Nevada in the near future.
The transcripts are available on the website www.douglasgop.org/2014/03/lientant-governor-candidate-interviews.html.
“We welcome any publishing entities to reprint less than complete versions, and request the courtesy of a web link back to our source transcripts,” a spokesman said. “DCRCC also reminds Nevadans that the June 10 primary election is only 69 days away. Nevadans need to know that the election outcome they desire starts by helping ensure the candidate that reflects their values and integrity is ultimately elected, starts in the primary election. You must be a registered Republican to help choose our Republican candidates to run in the November election.”
The Douglas County Republican Central Committee is the official Nevada Republican Party-affiliated organization in Douglas County. They focus on voter registration and education as well as helping turn out voters for elections. They currently represent over 16,643 registered Douglas County Republicans.
Their office is located at 1507 Highway 395 N. Suite B, in Gardnerville. The phone number is 782-4GOP (4467).
