A South Lake Tahoe man accused of being one of the crowbar burglars is scheduled to appear for arraignment in Douglas County District Court this morning. Jeffrey Stephens, 44, faces several counts of burglary. The other two members of the trio allegedly caught inside an Indian Hills home pleaded guilty in January and face decades in prison each.
A Gardnerville man who cursed at District Judge Tod Young as he was led off to a regimental discipline program is due back in court this morning for a review hearing. Taylor Monge, 20, was ordered to go to boot camp in December after he had failed probation in the theft of two dirt bikes.
