The R-C Morning Report for Feb. 4

A contract for additional clean-up at the former Eagle Gas Station will go before Gardnerville Town Board members tonight at their regular meeting. A spill found from the underground heating oil tank which was removed last month could be cleaned up with help from the Nevada Petroleum Fund. Board members meet at 4:30 p.m. at the town offices, 1407 Highway 395.

Genoans will discuss outdoor festival permits tonight for the Autumn Boutique and the Peddler’s Fair on Candy Dance weekend, which is Sept. 27-28 this year. The town board meets 6:30 p.m. in the Genoa Town Offices, 2289 Main St.

We’re looking at a chance of snow later in the week, but for today expect mostly sunny skies with a high temperature in the neighborhood of 35 degrees.
