Suspect not so lucky second time

Bail is $145,640 for a Carson City man accused of stealing two big-screen televisions from Walmart within three weeks.

Logan Daniel Anderson, 26, is to appear Friday before East Fork Justice Tom Perkins. He is in Douglas County Jail.

He was arrested Monday at the Gardnerville Walmart as he allegedly attempted to steal a 55-inch television worth $678.

Anderson is accused of taking a 50-inch television worth $798 on Dec. 12 from the same store.

He reportedly told officers he sold the first television for $250 to purchase heroin.

In the first incident, Anderson reportedly was seen shoving the television into a red sedan and driving away. According to reports, he returned to the store on Monday in the same vehicle, a 4-door Mitsubishi Galant, which was reported stolen from Carson City.

Anderson was the subject of a Douglas County Secret Witness reward stemming from the first case.

He is facing felony charges of burglary and grand larceny.
