People in the community who will be without their family on Christmas Day are invited to the 15th annual “Noel Christmas Dinner for Those Without Family” 1-4 p.m. at St. Gall Pastoral Center.
It is a free event serving a traditional Christmas meal with all the trimmings, plus games and fellowship.
“It is hoped that they will find a family atmosphere and caring environment at this event. When folks arrive they are invited to mingle and enjoy snacks and drinks and pick out their place at the tables,” organizers said. “Many people meet others they know in the community or make new friends at the dinner.”
Each person is asked to bring a wrapped gift for their gender of $10 or less for the gift exchange.
Anyone in the community who will be alone on Christmas day is invited to attend the dinner.

“It’s important to get an accurate count of the people attending to help plan the food,” organizers said. “Last Christmas 178 people were served including guests and volunteers.”
