Buster Blue’s ‘Still on Conway’ nominated

Carson Valley band Buster Blue’s “Still on Conway” has been nominated for EP of the Year in the roots-country genre by The Independent Music Awards. The album is named after the band’s near death experience while trying to navigate a mountain pass during a 2011 tour. “It is a huge honor for us. We’ve been recording a new album for the past several months, and we’ve barely come out of the studio,” band member Rachael McElhiney said. “This was a really wonderful surprise that our EP from the summer is still getting noticed.” Other bands nominated for the award include …
