Join the hunt for history and food April 20

The Douglas County Historical Society is hosting a History Mystery Luncheon on April 20.

The hunt begins 11 a.m. at the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center, located at 1477 Highway 395 in Gardnerville.

“Join in the History Mystery fun, and search for answers to an assortment of questions concerning various exhibits in the museum,” organizers said. “Then enjoy visiting with friends at reserved seating in the main gallery which comes alive with beautifully set tables, assorted salads and dessert luncheon.”

During lunch at 12:15 p.m., there will be a drawing and guest speaker Dr. Michael Fischer.

Glennis Hill and Caryl Anderson will perform the skit “Welcome to Millerville.”

Tickets are $25, and all proceeds support the Douglas County Historical Society.

At the time of ticket purchase, attendees can choose their table and seat. No refunds.
