Charles Herrera performs for arts council's 10th anniversary

Champagne, candlelight and dancing to the sound of rising star, Charles Herrera, will be the setting for the Carson Valley Arts Council’s 10th anniversary celebration 7 p.m. Friday in the CVIC Hall.

Herrera brings the audience back to the era of traditional vocal greats such as Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Vic Damone, Luciano Pavarotti, Bobby Darin, and many more.

He has appeared in musicals and plays including Godspell, Oklahoma, The Mikado, and The Glass Menagerie to name a few. A seasoned cabaret singer, he has performed his critically-acclaimed and award-winning shows in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and Mexico.
